Desert Safari Useful Information

We received many question about safari trips prices, how they are calculated and what is included and what is not?. We thought of explaining the basics of how the price is calculated aiming that our clint can get a clear idea.

Safari Trip Main Cost: the main cost for any safari trip is the safari car. the stander car is Toyota 4X4 Land Cruiser. The car price is around 170$ per day in Western Desert and 150$ per day in Sinai. This price is fixed, it has nothing to do with number of paying persons.

How Many Persons Can Car Take: maximum of 5 persons, but for long trips, 3 persons is enough so that they have a comfortable trip.

The Guide: generally English speaking guide coat is about $45 to $70 per day, the price really depends on the language required, for example Japanese guides are of course more expensive than English speaking guides.

What About Food: we offer you three meals per day, 2 cold meals during the day, 1 hot meal at night. Usually chicken is main dish at night, however if you don't like chicken and desperate to eat meat we can arrange it for you. Food price is about $10 per person per day.

Accommodation: there are 3ways to spend the night in the safari trips, first way is to sleep in the desert in our sleeping bags ( don't worry there is always a mattress under the sleeping bag for your comfort ). Second way is to sleep in a camp, which is small place with little huts, it is not luxurious, just a nice clean place to sleep and have a shower. Third way is to sleep the night in a hotel, there are more than 3 hotels in each Oasis, a hotel is the best choice for someone who is looking for swimming pool and air-conditioning.
1- Desert sleeping bags : $7 per person per night.
2- Camps : average $18 per person per night.
3- Hotels : average $50 per person per night.

Bathrooms: I am sure this is a big issue for all of us, don't worry! here how it works. If you are sleeping in hotel or camp, bathrooms are available ( private in hotels and public in camps ). If you sleeping in the desert, well you have all the desert ! and showers are available in the hot springs and the hot springs are available everywhere. Anyway, we have a sort of " Moving Bathroom " which is a portable tent with a toilet and a shower, but it is needed only in the long trips ( more than 10 days in desert ).

Western Desert

The Western Desert part of the Great Sahara, an often desolate void that seems the very negation of everything. As such, the islands of life as provided by the Oasis in this Area have supported civilization for a very long time. Our accommodation in the Oasis comes in the form of simple hotels or lodges. In all Oasis air-conditioned rooms are available with shower. Our daily routine usually involves departure our overnight point immediately after breakfast. The routing is designed to show a change of scenery every day. We try to organize the tours so that you get a chance to visit springs or wells at least every second day. Some provide hot water, others are large enough to swim, so bring a swimsuit! Our guides are knowledgeable and make the tour unforgettable experience. Our drivers have years of experience in desert trips and are familiar with every kind of terrain, they know the Egyptian Desert by heart and are accomplished mechanics. Lunch break is at a well-suited, beautiful spot, sometimes providing an opportunity to swim. After lunch the tour continues to the landscapes and points of interest of the day's program.

Sinai Desert

After 8,000 years at the heart of history, experience the continuing contrasts. Sinai is where rock meets coral reef and the desert stops at the sea. It is the grandeur of granite meeting golden beaches. Here, you will find tropical fish and rare birds, spectacular sunsets and clear starry nights.Meet Sinai and discover yourself.

El-Arish has shady palm beaches, Mediterranean waves and the glowing colors of Bedouin crafts. Sharm el-Sheikh is the simplicity of sun, sea and sand. The luxury of five-star hotels, water sports, shopping and entertainment. Ras Mohamed is a world famous paradise of coral gardens and tropical fish.
